Tips for meeting people in college
Meeting people first year in college
One of the best ways to meet people your first year in college is by living in the college dorms and getting involved in college organizations and groups.
Attending smaller classes will help you get to know other classmates in college a lot easier than if you are in a big college lecture hall. Maybe try some field studies that are in line with your major or other things you are interested in.
There are often lots of things going on, especially in the beginning of the year at the college dorms. Also fraternities and sororities have rush 2 times per year. Why not give it a try it and see if there is anyone you like.
Most new students in college are experiencing the same thing and will be happy to get to know you. So don’t be shy…say hi.
