Are online classes as good as college classes?
Which is better? Online college courses or college course in class room?
There are many colleges online that are very good, but there are also some that are not. Vice versa with regular colleges.
Many colleges now offer online classes as a replacement for regular in-class college courses.
Basically, the difference lies within what YOUR learning style is.
For some classes such as math, calculus, and more it would be better to actually SEE a live person demonstrating various methods and what needs to be done.
Many online classes differ through the usage of their discussion boards. With the class discussion boards many people can come online and comment who are in the field already as opposed to having to show up physically and take a day off work.
Also assignments can be posted on discussion boards and changed accordingly. So looking into whether the class has a college course discussion boards would be a great idea.
What type of school is it? Is the online college degree program a general run-of-the mill online course which does not have any real interaction or is it a real person?
If there are real people, then how often will they be available to answer your questions regarding the college course material?
Are there any alumni you can speak with about the course? How would you get a hold of them?
Does the online school have counseling services?
Do you have a choice between doing the entire course online versus being able to actually sit in a classroom?
These are all important facts that should be looked into when looking into online college degree courses.
